Interiors shaped by light, proportion, and atmosphere. Creating spaces that feel deeply personal and quietly luxurious.

Our Signature Approach

At Reverie, every project begins with care, clarity, and creative intent.

We design interiors shaped by light, proportion, and atmosphere – spaces that feel intuitive, personal, and quietly luxurious. Rooted in British heritage and refined through a contemporary European lens, our work balances elegance with ease, tradition with modernity.

True luxury lies in the details: considered materials, thoughtful spatial flow, and a sensitivity to how a home is lived in – layered, emotionally intelligent, and shaped around your life.

Heritage spaces reimagined for modern transformation

Nestled in the heart of London’s Seven Dials, Hadley Yates Salon serves discerning clients seeking expertise in luxury hair extensions and bespoke colour. Reverie was entrusted with the design of both the original Monmouth Street salon and the expanded Shelton Street location – each housed within a listed building and shaped by the brand’s ethos: making the unnatural feel natural.

Working within heritage constraints, we layered contemporary comfort with timeless detail – natural materials, bespoke lighting, and thoughtfully zoned layouts that balance discretion, creativity, and calm.

“Thank you for designing not only our first salon, but also our second. Super prompt, efficient and creative – we couldn’t have done it without you.”

Design Questions Clients Often Ask

What kind of interior design projects do you specialise in?

I specialise in creating quietly luxurious interiors for characterful homes – particularly period townhouses, country houses, and architecturally interesting properties. My work blends British architectural heritage with a refined European sensibility, focusing on atmosphere, proportion, and how a space feels to live in day to day. Projects often involve rethinking layout, light, and materiality as much as decoration, ensuring each interior feels calm, layered, and deeply personal rather than trend-driven.

How do you approach designing a home from scratch?

Every project begins with understanding how you want your home to feel, not just how it should look. I consider light, movement, texture, sound, and emotional rhythm alongside practical needs and spatial planning. From there, I develop a cohesive design narrative – guiding layout decisions, material choices, colour palettes, and detailing – so the finished home feels intentional, balanced, and quietly resolved.

Can you help improve the atmosphere of an existing home without a full renovation?

Absolutely. Atmosphere is often shaped by subtle adjustments rather than major building work. Changes to lighting, colour balance, furniture placement, and material contrast can dramatically transform how a space is experienced. I regularly work with clients to re-edit and refine existing interiors, enhancing warmth, clarity, and comfort while respecting what is already there.
